Developing Canada's Renewable Power Source
Regional Power Inc. has operated, developed, built and maintained hydroelectric
power plants for over 20 years. Their efforts were highly recognised at the
United Nations Climate Change Conference in 2005 with a Blue Planet Prize for
their Sechelt Creek Hydropower Project. “The Deputy Minister of Norway
said that Canada has been recognised as a world leader in hydroelectric
development throughout the 20th century. Norway has 99 per cent of all of its
electrical output coming from water power. Why doesn’t Canada?”
